Jessie the Tattoo Artist
Jessie the Tattoo Artist, is from China initially. She completed her undergraduate studies there and worked as a teacher before relocating to the US in 2008. Her tattoo apprenticeship in China was completed just before she received her visa and relocated. Since 2013, she has started inking people in the US. She has always felt as though she doesn’t have a firm grasp on her roots because of how far away her home and family are.
Having said that, she believes that out of the five states she has lived in, St. Paul has made her feel the most at home. She decided to set up a private, by-appointment-only studio right here on Grand Avenue for that reason. To make her goal come true, she worked incredibly hard.
