Oliv Body Bar, Maryann Mousourakis, a Tennessee native with origins in Crete, Greece, founded the company after being encouraged to travel early by her Greek father, an international business tycoon. Maryann spent her childhood vacations in Greece, and her undergraduate years living in South America, where she studied various languages and earned a degree in Spanish when she returned to Knoxville, Tennessee.
Maryann experienced a wonderful massage in Costa Rica, which piqued her interest in wellness and the massage profession. Maryann combined her enthusiasm for travel with a profession as a massage therapist on private yachts after graduating from the American Institute School of Wellness and Beauty with a degree in massage therapy.

Dee Dee has always been interested in staying in shape, relaxing, and helping others. She worked as a teacher in a body contouring salon and a local fitness club during her school years. Carlie was born and reared in Nashville, and she attended David Lipscomb from kindergarten to high school.
She is a committed student who excels in academics as well as being a gifted dancer.
