Market Square is a locale center situated at 2866 Virginia Beach Boulevard. It has 176,000 square feet in size. McLeskey identified an opportunity to reposition the center in 2014 in order to attract national, regional, and local merchants. The plan was to rebuild the center and turn it into a dynamic market area that reflected the neighborhood’s status.
