O’Donovan’s Irish Pub

O'Donovan'sO’Donovan’s Irish Pub is Minnesota’s first Irish pub, constructed fully in Ireland and delivered to the United States piece by piece. The authentic design of the pub was the first step in ensuring that all of our visitors experienced the actual essence of an Irish pub. When you walk inside this tiny corner of Ireland, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to the Emerald Isle. The owner of O’Donovan’s is an Irish native, and no cost was spent in importing the whole decor from his homeland.

“I visited Merlin’s rest pub on a Tuesday evening. It was quick to get seated and service was really fast (even though the server and bartender kept apologizing for being slow, it was faster than a typical restaurant). I had the fish sandwich and would definitely recommend it. It was good fresh and also good as leftovers the next day.” – Melissa Prenevost

Morrissey’s Irish Pub

Morrissey's Irish PubMorrissey’s Irish Pub is one of Minneapolis’ great hidden gems. Paddy Irish Man one, Paddy Irish Man two, Paddy Indian Man, and Paddy American Man stroll into a Brazilian restaurant in America, Morrissey’s Irish Pub, Minneapolis, MN, USA. All of the Paddy’s looked at each other and agreed that this was the finest location for an Irish pub. That is exactly what they did. It may sound like the beginnings of a funny joke, but this tavern was founded almost 8 years ago by four friends of various ethnic backgrounds. It serves some of the world’s best bangers & mash.

“The pub itself is pretty typical. The karaoke is what I love! This guy comes in Saturdays at 9 pm and runs the entire thing. He does a really good job of keeping people engaged, even getting up to sing itself. I’ve been impressed by the range of skill levels that show up and how the group encourages each other. All three times I went there, it lasted 2-3 hours plus.” – Ty Ebert
