The first Pleasant House is an 1800s cottage that still looks out on the rolling green hills of rural Yorkshire, England. In the 1950s, the Jackson family entitled Pleasant House home.

Monk’s Pub originated its name from a monastery where the proprietor visited one summer as a young boy. Amazed with his stay, he thought to himself if he ever owns a public house, he is going to call it Monk’s. May of 1978, his childhood dream became a reality when he acquired a public house in Chicago and called it Monk’s Pub. Food-Pub fare-Burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads.

There is a little something for everyone. They are known for their burgers but they also have healthy options your summer body would love. They have many vegetarian options and proudly serve the beyond burger which is clean vegan.
