Christopher E. Lord, MD
Dr. Christopher E. Lord attended the University of Texas at Austin and has specialized in psychology with a minor emphasis in zoology. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, medical training began immediately afterward at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Lord enjoyed psychiatric training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Following successful completion of that training program, he returned to Texas to pursue post-graduate fellowship training in two different psychiatric sub-specialties: forensic and addiction psychiatry. Both programs were offered at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He moved to Charlotte from Dallas in the summer of 2006 and worked for one year for Carolinas Medical Center at the psychiatric hospital. After this, he established his current clinical practice.
