James Marshall Parent Nursery School
James Marshall Parent Nursery School was formed in 1954 by a group of parents who recognized the need for a preschool program in West Sacramento, which did not exist at the time. They feel that a child’s work is play, as experts say. Don’t be fooled by the play-based philosophy, they learn such in-depth concepts including having an art teacher with an MFA who uses expansive concepts to produce beyond refrigerator art. The playground is bigger than most parks and is filled with lots of imaginative play areas. My child has gone here for two years and it’s helped nurture and prepare him for Kindergarten (enter tears here).
