The Clay Studio caters to the artistic side of the people living in the Philadelphia region. It is a nonprofit studio that highlights the distinct and exemplary works of local craft makers. The year 2020 is envisioned to extend their reach to a wider audience through a facility servicing the South Kensington community. This would cement their status as a premier provider of ceramics products and leading art educators. The organization hosts the Pottery Unplugged which is an event running on people-powered bicycles called BIKELANGELO. It aims to bring pottery to the public to let them experience the fun and excitement a person behind a potter’s wheel experience.
