Luigi’s Pizzeria is a humble business venture of an Italian named Luisa Ward. Luisa was born and raised in Italy and relocated to the USA with her family. Initially, her work was only focused on caring for patients with cancer. Her kind-heart enabled her to have the energy to serve pizza to these same patients. Upon tasting her homemade pizza, people were enticed and good words began spreading. Soon enough, she and her husband Bruce were on their way setting up their own pizzeria. Her age 67, though frowned upon by skeptics, did not hinder her dream and passion. The single pizza restaurant that started in 2008, branched out to another location and now on their way to their 3rd.

“This restaurant would get praised for their food hygiene. The foods are best for lunch and dinner. Because no one would like to have a heavy pizza slide in breakfast. There are so many different flavors of pizzas. Recommended for foodies nearby.” –travis elvis

Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana
Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana started as a little experimentation of Bill Hutchinson with business. Bill started making pizzas for close friends and family during family occasions and casual weekend hangouts. They immediately approved of his pizza and suggested he opened a restaurant. With his experience limited to the oil and gas industry, he employed the help of his son Matt who has been working in the food business. They did intense research, brainstorming and traveled to the homeland of pizza, Italy. Bill studied under master pizza chef Peppe Miele and obtained his certification as a Pizzaiolo from the Verace Pizza Napoletana. The pizzeria offers original Naples style pizza, and uses the best ingredients. They import their items directly from Italy like the tipo 00 flour and pomodori pelati tomatoes. Diner’s get to choose among their pizza offerings named Napoletana, New York and Detroit.

Frank’s Pizza is conveniently located in the central Downtown Houston community. Their location made them accessible to diners who love Italian food. The website menu showcases the restaurant’s specialties in vibrant and appetizing images. Their pizzas are notably called hand-tossed for a reason. Unlike regular pan pizza, these are made with the thinnest crust. Having a thin crust allows more flavors to be enjoyed and prevents a heavy feeling after consumption. Frank offers these pizzas in various types. There is the customer top pick containing heaps of vegetables and meat. Another is the kind specially made for vegetarians. Aside from pizza, they also cater to requests of lasagna, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, and desserts.

“Excellent pizza. We had the supreme. If you order an XL, you can get a free order of breadsticks (check for their coupon online). Good service. Fast. Great place to eat. Reasonably priced (check them on their website). If you’re partying on Main St. this is the place to eat afterward. But late at night, they don’t have seating, and you walkthrough, place your order and take it to go. Earlier in the day/night, they have seating inside.” –Gabie Woodard
