Dr. Brian P. Scannell specializes in pediatric orthopedics. Raised in Charlotte, he graduated with Honors from the University of Georgia. There he was an NCAA All-American swimmer and competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While there, he met his wife who is a pediatrician.
Dr. Scannell completed his residency, which included participation in the year-long research fellowship, at Carolinas Medical Center. In 2013, he completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego.

Dr. Christian Clark has spent the past two decades in Orthopedics, originally as an Adult Orthopedic surgeon in the US Navy, and after completion of his Fellowship, as a Pediatric specialist. Dr. Clark moved to Charlotte and joined the OrthoCarolina Pediatric team in 2008. He specializes in all aspects of Pediatric Orthopedics and has a special interest in cartilage and ligament injuries in pediatric and adolescent patients.
