Milan Sheth, MD
Milan Sheth, MD opted to become a doctor in order to use his natural ability for science to aid in the treatment of people’s problems. He was lured to oncology because of the rapid scientific advancements that have led to the creation of novel medicines. Milan Sheth’s special interests include hematologic malignancies, genitourinary cancer, melanoma, and lung cancer. During his fellowship, he worked on leukemia and prostate cancer research, which he published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Sheth completed an internship at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, an internal medicine residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California, Irvine after receiving his medical degree from the Flinders University of South Australia. Omkar Marathe, MD
Omkar Marathe, MD got his bachelor’s degree in neurosciences from UCLA and his MD from UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego before returning to Los Angeles to complete his hematology/oncology fellowship at the UCLA-Olive View-Cedars Sinai program, where he was able to train in a variety of clinical settings, including a county hospital and a tertiary academic center.
