REVIEWS:

“Went there for Mon & Thurs Salsa/Bachata Nights. Had lots of fun. Music is a good mix to please a diverse, all-ages crowd. The floor is a clean pan wood floor with club lighting (didn’t see anyone with their drink in hand on the dance floor good indicator of a dancing vs. drinking crowd). There are more leads than followers. First, visit this week and I got asked to dance (I’m a follower btw) on both nights, more so on Mon than Thurs where dancers come in groups. I came with my boyfriend but leads still ask to dance. My first impression of PCH is that it’s a social and friendly crowd of dancers of all levels out to be social at a salsa club for a fun night. Hope to return.”

The Silver FoxTop Nightclubs in Long Beach

The Silver Fox was founded in 1981 by John Schinnerer and Ron Waddell and joined by Micheal Loberg to create Southern California’s first video bar. John Barnes took over as manager in 1985, and Fox, as it is known, quickly became one of Long Beach’s most popular and successful nightclubs. Their business philosophy is to serve their community while also providing a secure and friendly environment and, of course, delivering their signature cocktails.

They consider themselves to be Long Beach’s Premiere Nightclub, with the area’s largest assortment of spirits. In addition to their multi-screens, which feature contemporary and historic music videos in an attractive and comfortable lounge atmosphere, they just had a major makeover of their interior, generating brilliant space lighting with color effects and projections.

“A while ago now, my late Partner Bob Wildy and I use to frequent the Fox. I use to sing my go-to songs. The Fox is a gentleman’s Cruze Bar. Owners then were wonderful hosts for the Bar. Drinks were always nice and strong. Bartender’s where always welcoming with beautiful smiles. Very comfortable atmosphere. The lighting was always perfect. Love the Silver Fox. I am single and older now, nice Cruze bar on the down-low. Loads of fun. Get there early so you can find parking.” – Larry M.

“Came here two weeks ago and it’s a vibe. My first 21+ club! (Went on a Saturday) You can be on the guest list and get in for free. If you text them on Instagram you can(but if you exit and come back in the fee you if you are on the guest list). There’s the number on there. $20 for entry cash and card are accepted! They have two floors (main and salsa room) but if you wanted to go to the salsa room it’s an extra fee. The main room had two bars and a decent size dance room. A lot of seats but for bottle service! I believe the base price is $200. The DJ was lit! The mixer of reggaetón and old school songs mashed up perfectly after song after song! The bathrooms were nice but not a lot of stalls. The bar was decent pricing but it was good mixed drinks! They had decent AC too! I recommend coming here!” – Knot P.
