Dr. Neil Cherian, MD is a staff physician in the Neurological Institute and a member of the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Neuro-Restoration. He holds board certifications in adult neurology and headache medication. Cherian has a busy clinical practice and does research on dizziness, tinnitus, and complicated brain and brainstem problems. Prior to his current position, he was an Associate Staff member at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Cherian graduated from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. From 2000 to 2002, he completed an Otoneurology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. His postdoctoral training also included time at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he specialized in the neurology of tinnitus.
He’s constantly invited to speak at professional conferences. He has spoken on behalf of the American Tinnitus Association, on whose board of directors he has served six times. He has written numerous academic articles and posters about vestibular dysfunction, tinnitus, dizziness, and interdisciplinary approaches to vestibular ails. Dr. Eric P. Baron, DO is an ABPN Board Certified Neurologist on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, Center for Neurological Restoration – Headache and Chronic Pain Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2009, he finished his neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic, where he also served as Chief Neurology Resident. He then completed a headache medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2010 and has remained on staff ever since. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University’s Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

Dr. Sumit Parikh, MD
Dr. Sumit Parikh, MD is the Director of the Cleveland Clinic Neurogenetics, Metabolic, and Mitochondrial Disease program. As a member of the Mitochondrial Care Network, he oversees the Cleveland Clinic Mitochondrial Medicine Center and provides interdisciplinary expert and coordinated care to Mitochondrial Disease patients. Hundreds of patients with primary mitochondrial illness have been cared for by the program.
Dr. Parikh did his pediatric residency and fellowship in child neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sophia Sundararajan, MD is a Vascular Neurologist at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. She works as part of the University Hospitals Comprehensive Stroke Center to provide and advance excellence in stroke care by training the next generation of neurologists and creating new treatments through clinical research. She routinely attends Cleveland Medical Center’s specialized Stroke Service and mentors residents and fellows in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
