“We went on a Friday night and it was busy. We had made a reservation and were seated quickly. They bring crunchy tortilla chips and a delicious salsa while you wait for your order. The strawberry margarita was well balanced. The mango margarita was strong but good. Puesto offers a unique twist to Mexican food. The tacos were one of a kind, but nothing was really spicy. Taqueria De Anda
Taqueria De Anda is a low-key Mexican restaurant franchise run by a local family that specializes in tacos and burritos. It all began with their father, Rafael “Don Rafa” De Anda, who grew up in the little Mexican town of Arandas. In the 1950s, Don Rafa used to drive his taco cart around town and in Mexico City. Along the way, he met Guadalupe “Doa Lupe,” his future wife. Their parents decided to come to Southern California in 1973 and raise their family there permanently.
Don Rafa and Doa Lupe eventually resolved to do something. They came to the conclusion that they needed to embark on a mission to design the best Mexican food menu and serve the most authentic “Mexican taco” their town had ever eaten.
