“Great place for kids and adults. This is a HUGE benefit for Miami Shores residents. Plenty of shaded areas, a place to make new friends, warm water, and lots to do. It’s an easy activity you can enjoy without a hassle. There are bathrooms, concession stands, a large lap/swimming pool, and 2 jacuzzis. A wonderful alternative to a park on a hot day. REVIEWS:

“Love this gym in Downtown Miami. It’s 100 times better than LA Fitness, which I’m also a member of. To start off, all the free weights are always organized and sorted. This makes for much more efficient workouts. You also have access to plenty of resistance and cardio equipment. On top of all this, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Would give the Downtown YMCA 10 stars if possible.” – Dan Alvarez

“What a hidden gem. This pool has heated water for winter swimming and many lap lanes. Showers and changing rooms available. The hours are short and a suit dryer would have been nice but for $3, great option to get in some swimming.” – Rebecca T.
