Luis Maria Peralta Adobe
Luis Maria Peralta Adobe was built in 1797 and is the oldest building in San Jose. It was named after the most famous residents in the area. Furthermore, the property has a rich history from various owners. It was the first home for the Peraltas which turned into a storage facility. Moreover, the adobe was restored by the City of San Jose. A surrounding ark was then installed in 1976. It is also the part and the first site component of the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.

SJSU Tower Hall
SJSU Tower Hall was built in 19210 and is the centerpiece of San Jose State University. It is the oldest structure of the oldest public school in California. Furthermore, the tower was designed by Sellona and Hemmings in the Spanish Revival style. The tower features the rich cultural diversity found in San Hose. It is used as a lecture hall currently. Southern Pacific Railroad Steam Locomotive #1215 is part of the rich history of transportation in San Jose. As Santa Clara became the world’s largest food processing region, transportation became very important. Furthermore, the locomotive was built in 1913. It was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works. It is a 75-ton locomotive supporting various food processing industries. Moreover, it is a typical switch-engine locomotive. There are no trailing trucks for it to make sharp turns. Forbes Mill Museum
Forbes Mill Museum was built in 1854 and is a defunct flour mill. The mill was built in 1854 by James Alexander Forbes. He was the Vice-Consul in San Francisco. The mill is four-story long made of stone materials. Furthermore, it was the first commercial building in the city. There are two-story buildings serving a storage annex. Woodcut from trees in the mountains above Los Hatos made up the tp story. Moreover, the mill became a power plant then became a substation. After World War 1, the flour mill became a center for the youth.
