Meierotto Jewelers has been the premier jewelry store in Kansas City for nearly 40 years. In 1979, Dennis and Carol Meierotto opened their doors in a tiny 800-square-foot business. Carol and Dennis worked late into the night to ensure that customer orders were delivered on time, despite the fact that they only had three additional employees. With the support of some of their seven young children, they expanded to their new premises on Vivion Road in 1986.

Montanari Fine Art Jewelers is a luxury jewelry business that specializes in custom-made engagement rings, wedding bands, and pendants. With a few modest hand tools and a homemade workbench, company founder Joe Montanari began repairing jewelry in the Kansas City area in the summer of 1973. When Joe’s late wife, Jo Ann, who was an accomplished sculptor and graphic designer, joined the company in 1975, the two began creating diamond rings for friends and neighbors.
