Indian Twist
Indian Twist is known for its exquisite Indian cuisine, including Chicken Tikka, Tandoori, and Biryani. GM Jimmy Aujla grew up in India, where he volunteered in a Sikh Temple kitchen as a child. Cooking became a hobby for him as a teenager. He started working at his family’s Indian restaurant, Maharaja, in Washington state, after relocating to the United States in 1996.
Jimmy went to Palm Springs to help open and run Monsoon after his family opened another restaurant in Beaverton. They opened Flavor of India in Needles last year. Jimmy had wanted to open an Indian restaurant since he moved to Tucson, and he fell in love with the wonderfully built location at Swan & Camp Lowell.

New Delhi Palace nearly three decades ago, New Delhi Palace opened its doors to Tucson residents, claiming to be the city’s first Indian restaurant.
