Mississippi Greenway
Mississippi Greenway is situated close to the heart of the city center St. Louis. The trailhead is just a few blocks north of the Martin Luther King Bridge on Biddle Street. Between Chouteau and the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, the Mississippi River Greenway is unlike any other, spanning from downtown St. Louis along the industrial riverside to the historic Route 66 bridge. John F. Kennedy Memorial Forest
John F. Kennedy Memorial Forest comprises above 60 acres of grown forested home. It was the first portion of Forest Park to be designated as a conservation reserve. This region attracts runners, bikers, and hikers at all times of the year thanks to approximately 3.5 miles of paved and dirt pathways. In addition, Kennedy Forest is a well-known and popular birding spot in St. Louis.
It is a wonderful stopping site for over 100 species of migrating birds, including dozens of species of warblers throughout the spring and late summer months, due to its proximity to the junction of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers and its location along the Mississippi River flyway.

Tower Grove Park
Tower Grove Park is a chief city and ancient destination. Fort Belle Fontaine
Fort Belle Fontaine has become a St. Louis County Park since 1986. Few people realize that in 1805, this was the first US military installation west of the Mississippi River. The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Trail in Fort Belle Fontaine is a three-mile multi-purpose trail with a trailhead and interpretive signs that lead visitors to the park’s four main sites. When the site was acquired by the City of St. Louis in the 1930s, the Works Progress Administration erected large stonework elements.

Whitecliff Park
Whitecliff Park is the biggest of Crestwood’s seven parks. The city has taken great care to preserve the park’s 40 wooded acres, which offer a peaceful respite in the midst of a bustling community of both residential and commercial districts. Walking trails lead around the quarry and to other portions of the park in the park’s woodland region. The Crestwood Community Center, a 22,000-square-foot facility, is located in the park’s active section.
