Atlas Supply Company Inc
Atlas Supply Company Inc was started in 1937 by two brothers, Ben and Fred Suffian, with $5000.00 in borrowed funds. Mike, Fred’s son, joined the firm in 1959. Atlas purchased the Ruud Water Heater brand in 1960. Fred’s son Bob joined his father and sibling in 1962. The firm became an American Standard wholesaler in 1965. Atlas relocated one block east to its current 95,000 square foot building in 1979.
To reflect their extensive and diversified inventory, their business name was changed to Atlas Supply Company. The firm is now led by Mike’s son Joel, Mike’s daughter Leigh, and Bob’s son Brent. Immerse, their showroom/design studio debuted in Brentwood in 2012.
