Falkenhan’s HardwareHardware in Baltimore

Falkenhan’s Hardware is situated in a building once familiar as Mt. Vernon Hall. The first owner and original name of the store were Towsons’. It was known as a hardware/general store. The second owner was named Benson; thus Bensons’ Hardware & Rug Cleaning. Father, Frank Falkenhan, bought the store and building in 1968 and changed the name to Falkenhan’s Hardware.

He operated the store until 1988 when he sold the store to Earl and Ken Klock. They managed Klock’s Hardware until decided to close in 1997. The Falkenhan’s Hardware was continued on June 17, 1998, in the lower level of the building.
