McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. opened up in Dec 1970 at the present location. James A. McCafferty, Sr and his wife Margaret Mary saw a need for a compassionate funeral provider in the Mayfair area. Both James and Margaret come from a lineage that was each 3rd generation of funeral service, with Margaret growing up in a funeral home in Center City.
Mark McCafferty and his wife, Lisa McCafferty, are at this time the interactive owners of McCaffery Funeral & Cremation Inc. Lisa handles the many details of the office a day by day.
