Gaines Funeral Home is a sanctuary for the bereaved, dedicated to the remembrance of those who have passed on to eternal rest. Gaines, a well-known funeral director and embalmer in Cleveland for over 50 years, met Rosa M. Kirby. Ball Funeral Home was where they both worked. In 1968, the two married and shared the idea of opening their own funeral home. When they went into business for themselves in 1972, their goal came true.
The husband and wife pair began developing their business, with Mr. Gaines’ superb embalming talents and Mrs. Gaines’ outstanding speaking ability.
