“Great authentic Mexican food, I’m in the food truck industry in GA and I went to LA for a 10-day street food trial and Pancho Tacos Truck was the best one out of 13 spots that I tried. The most iconic taco was the pastor as it is as traditional as it was originated and the dude has an extremely fancy way of putting the pineapple in the taco. Congrats to the ownership and also very hard-working employees.” – Victor A.

“I happened by this place bicycling home from a very long day. At 12:45 AM on a Friday night, I didn’t believe an open food purveyor, non-fast food, would be right there. A small crowd had gathered, so I was hopeful. I ordered 2 carnitas street tacos, chips, and a Mexican Coke. Folks, one of the best carnitas I’ve ever had. Carnitas done right usually means the place has good food throughout. I went back in line and got 2 more tacos to go, and 2 more for immediate consumption. Every bite was perfectly proportioned as if the Chef played it out with grazing teeth in mind. If you see this truck, run to it. They hang out on Ocean in Long Beach, I’m told. Days there and nights up near Artesia Blvd on Cherry.” – Teddy.

LA Autentica Birrieria
LA Autentica Birrieria serves shredded goat and shredded beef with homemade corn tortillas. They are proud Michoacanos who are thrilled by the prospect of using food to showcase their history and culture. La Autentica Birrieria brings the wonderful traditional taste of a genuine Michoacan Birria to Southern California. Every customer who visits the truck has an honest and sincere experience from the first bite to the last.
Birria dates back to the time when goats were first imported to Mexico from Spain. Because they thought goat meat was rough, the Spaniards allowed the Indians to consume it. The “birria” did not fear the villagers, who used ancient culinary techniques to marinade and tenderize the meat. Birria is currently popular all throughout the world, whether made with goat or any other meat. A decent birria has a great taste and a comforting quality when seasoned with peppers and spices. With the help of friends, family, and customers, La Autentica Birrieria is planning to open its second truck in 2021. Jaime Arana, the company’s public face, attributes his success to his clients, his team, and his faith.
Tacos, Tostada, Vampiros, Quesadilla, Torta, Burrito, and More
“Amazing tacos! Just saw this truck here recently and had to give it a try. Had the Cabeza soft tacos and it was very tender and flavorful. The tortillas taste handmade and have the softness and moist texture of fresh tortillas. So happy they also offer goat birria, one of my all-time favorites, they also have beef if that’s your thing. Their crunchy tacos are a welcomed change from soft tacos. Will be back for more.” – Sidney N.
OnPointttt is a Caribbean food truck that specializes in Jerk Chicken and Spicy Shrimp. This truck serves Jerk Chicken with Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and Freshly Baked Bread as vegetarian sides. Jerk Chicken, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and Freshly Baked Bread
“OnPointttt has a decent selection of meal options though only one Vegan meal option as of my most recent visit, the Jerk Plantain Taco, which is good. As a volunteer at an event, I receive a meal ticket and ask if the meal can be as potentially filling as possible since there is only one Vegan meal option that is not as filling as the other meal options on the menu which the volunteer meal ticket allows a volunteer to receive. The rice and beans are good. The plantain mixes well with the mango. I like my tacos to be fluffier and softer tacos. Otherwise, I enjoy the meal, and one of the persons working with OnPointttt says they’re looking into different Vegan options that are truly healthy.” – Kevin D.
