“I love this restaurant. We recently visited Milwaukee for the weekend and went twice to the Public Market. We weren’t very hungry on our first visit but took advantage of their oyster happy hour special and bellied up to the bar.

We came back for lunch and I had a great piece of fish grilled with some vegetables. My wife had the fried walleye special. The food is great. Well prepared, super fresh and really reasonably priced. You cannot go wrong here.” – Doug W.

REVIEWS:

“They have an interesting system. No actual servers. You scan a QR code at the table to access the menu, to order and pay. Runners bring the food out to you. We had the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries and steak sandwich with a side salad.
The chicken was a bit overcooked and there is some flavor in the batter I just didn’t like. Fries were terrific. Steak sandwich also terrific. Salad was nice with variety of greens.
My husband said the bourbon barrel aged dark chocolate stout is the best stout he has ever had.” – Elizabeth S.

REVIEWS:

“We really enjoyed our visit to Sabrosa. We ordered the sampler, caramelized fruit and yogurt, shrimp and grits, and the chilequiles. The sampler was massive and the Hash brows/French toast was great but the eggs were bland. The yogurt was delicious, as was the shrimp, but the grits were also fairly bland. The chilequiles were delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the biscuits, which was were very disappointed with bc they looked amazing! The drinks were also great…especially the muddled old fashioned and the martini” – Kushal D.
