San Pedro Fish Market – Long Beach
San Pedro Fish Market – Long Beach, the story starts as their family business began in 1956 by Mackey Ungaro. Known as Vista Seafood, Mackey put his son Henry and nephew, Tommy Amalfitano in charge of operations. They were just fifteen years old. As the business grew, they moved to the waterfront and added a live seafood section where patrons could select their fish. This was known as Norm’s Landing. In 1982 they moved into what is today known as the San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant. Back then they only had seating for four hundred.
Currently, in their fourth generation of being family-owned and operated they have seating for more than 3000 people and serve over 30,000 shrimp trays a week. In 2018 they opened their first San Pedro Fish Market Grille – a fresh-casual environment serving only the freshest seafood available.
