Winchester Mystery House

The Queen Anne Style Victorian home is most famous because of the size, its own architectural curiosities, and its own not enough any master construction systems. It’s autonomously maintained and functions as a tourist attraction.

Considering its structure in 1884, the mansion and estate were claimed by many people to be haunted by the ghosts of the murdered with Winchester rifles. Under Winchester’s day-to-day guidance, its from-the-ground-up composition moved across the clock by some reports, without disturbance, before her departure on September 5, 1922, in that time job instantly stopped.

“Absolutely lovely attraction! I definitely recommend to anyone in the area. There’s so many fun and cool facts about the house and the house itself is so charming and gorgeous. Not quite sure if it’s better to do the standard tour vs the standard+Extended tour. We did the standard tour which was about an hour and was very fun. They also had a super cool gingerbread version of the house inside! Super cute and smelled amazing.” – Denise Suter

“Great Egyptian museum and grounds. Well developed exhibits. It’s not a large facility; you can see the main museum in a couple of hours if you move through at a normal pace, but you get a good cross-section of ancient Egypt, similar to what you might expect at a larger location. No cafeteria inside, and they request no food be brought in, but there is in/out privileges if you have to break for lunch. Parking is a bit of a hit or miss; there is free on-street parking surrounding the grounds, but it’s a small business/residential around it, so on a busy day I can imagine it would be tough. Overall, definitely worth going!” – Justin Canning

“What a fantastic, historical but beautifully updated park for young children. The petting zoo is very cool. The rides are all super cool – especially the detailed animals on the carousel. I personally think the restaurant is the best restaurant of any in a kids oriented place. Really like the fixing bar and all the fresh toppings. There was also a beer garden event here (sans children) this year which was awesome.” – Ken Mixter
