Village Books & Music at WardOne of the best Bookstores in Honolulu

Village Books & Music at Ward is a gently used book and media store. Along with books, they also sell vinyl records, CDs, comics, manga, postcards, POGs, artwork, and more. The money raised is used to assist the 51 public libraries in Hawaii. Ward Village and Hawai’i State Federal Credit Union are the providers of the store. The previous Sedona store at the Ward Centre Mall at 1200 Ala Moana Blvd. is now the new Village Books & Music store by Friends of the Library of Hawaii.

There is plenty of free parking in the building next door. The store, which was generously supported by Ward Village and Hawai’i State Federal Credit Union, opened to the public as a pop-up on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the former Pier1 Home Goods location. On October 19, 2021, it relocated to its present, more permanent location.
