“Queen Anne Beer in lower QA is an awesome place to go try a decently wide selection of beer and sours! The place is massive with open seating. The food is also pretty damn good. You’re basically transported into a German beer hall and it’s GREAT!” – Kacey Figgat

Skål Beer Hall

Skål Beer HallSkål Beer Hall is the contemporary take on a Viking mead hall. The mead hall was the heart of the community, a welcome gathering place for locals and tourists alike. It was the place where over food and drink, stories of adventure, discovery, and new ideas were shared and debated. It was brimming with joy. They strive to provide Seattle’s most diversified craft beer draft roster, both in terms of who they showcase and the genres they offer. They also honor Ballard’s various brewers, as well as Washington’s best and hard-to-find Nordic imports. Aside from beer, our house focuses on aquavit, a versatile Scandinavian spirit, and mead, the Viking drink.

“The food was so good we’re planning to go back just to try the other menu item we didn’t get to order the first time. The drinks were made well and tasty, the atmosphere was phenomenal. They have viking boardgames you can plan, an incredible fireplace, and you can bring your dog. They have little leash hookups near the bar with water bowls for the pups. It was a really great experience and we are absolutely making this our new date night destination.” – Caitlin Conway
