“Lovely place for craft beers especially local and extraordinary. They have flights which let one try a number for an enhanced beer experience. Of course, they fill growlers and they also carry a large assortment of bottled beers. With a friendly staff, there’s not much more to ask. I’d drop them 1/4 star for lack of food, even finger food. I go there to fill my growler or to try their wonderful selection of drafts. But they also have a ginormous selection of bottles chilled or on the shelf.” – Frank Lu
Bentley’s Pub is a no-frills hangout that serves bar cuisine and brews and has sports playing on wall-to-wall TVs. An establishment with a permit to serve alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises is called a pub. In the late 17th century, the phrase “public house” was first used to distinguish between private homes and those that were open to the general public as “alehouses,” “taverns,” and “inns.” Although taverns as a distinct establishment had mostly disappeared by the beginning of the 19th century, the term had already entered popular usage by Georgian times.

“This is a local place for a few beers and pub food. Hamburgers, meat pie, and fish and chips is the sort of thing you will find. Their happy hour includes a pitcher of beer for $6… You can’t argue with that price. Nice ambiance (kids allowed only until 9pm). Update: New administration, no more $6 pitcher of beer. Now they have tall ones for the price of regular… Still a great place and great service.” – Nelson R. Gomez-Torres

“Went here to meet coworkers for a happy hour. We had a great bartender. He put the NHL network on for us while we enjoyed our drinks and appetizers. Most of our appetizers were good. The chips were stale and they mingled old guacamole with new…yuck. But overall we had fun.” – Amanda Davis

“Great place. Superb service, and munchies. Friendly owners that want you to have an awesome time, genuinely. Killer shows that don’t get enough praise. Lovely little spot. More homey than the surrounding patios with Christmas lights in my opinion. Relaxed, unpretentious, good food. See you soon, Mavericks.” – Will
