REVIEWS:
“WOW cool place! Went on a Monday and got free tokens for being a guy. That never happens. Cool selection of games, a nice mix of both retro and trendy vibes.” – Daniel James
“Always fun. Beer cold! Good old school games. Super place to hideaway in the coin age. DJ after hours. Great staff! Nice woman bartender.” – Umbrella Watch
Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour
Bitter & Twisted is a seated establishment, and while they do try to accommodate everyone they are bound by their legal capacity. They’re not trying to be cool but sadly they have limited space, and they just can’t think of a better and fairer system than first come, first served especially during peak times.
Walk-ins are always accepted based on availability.
An accurate head count is always required before any party is seated. They sometimes are unable to accommodate additional unannounced attendees, due to their space limitations and the needs of their other guests in the venue or others already on the waitlist.

“Fun, packed with interesting people and beverages. The drink menu is intimidating but the bartenders are great at helping you navigate to something that fits your style. Prices are reasonable for the artistry involved. We didn’t eat here but a few folks around us did and seemed quite happy with what they got. Also I have to give extra love to any place that has a little rescue card in the restroom. Nice work guys!” – Amber Remillard
“Super awesome spot for fun funky glass fillers! Had an array of drink the other day with friends from out of town had a great time! Staff was attentive and friendly but didn’t loom over waiting for us was very respectful. Highly recommend to anyone look for a cocktail with a bit of whimsy but still fills good on the tongue! Cheers to B&T!!” – Gregory Carter

Valley Bar is located in a notable downtown building constructed in 1949 on Central Avenue just north of Adams which was once the home The Hub art galleries, Sub Cultural Arts Center (where Sound Garden, Green Day and Bad Brains played their stage), famed Bickoff’s Deli and the Theater Triad.
Their interior decor by Patch & Clark Design is done up in a color palette full of soft yellows, cool greys, and bright whites which serves to remind you that this is sunlit Arizona. Valley Bar is something that chooses to celebrate what Phoenix life was and is by bringing this space a unique Arizona feel.

“Such a fun night time hang out spot. Pool tables and restaurant seating in the Rose Room serving meals and apps. The open floor space for dancing is in the Music Hall right next to the Rose Room. The bartenders can make just about any drink you want and the local acts are awesome.” – Alexis Ortiz
“This place is so cool! Weird vintage pictures on the wall, shadow pictures over the main bar. The draft beer selection is good local brews (I had a cider this time). The wait staff is friendly. I did not go to a show this visit, but in the past, the shows I have seen had the best sound ever. The music selection in the bar was en pointe! Definitely see a live show here if you can.” – Amy zzz

“I’ve been there twice so far and had a great experience each time. The first, it was a Saturday and it was pack with a great band playing. I was with someone in a wheelchair and did their best to accommodate as it appears not much thought was put into the space for the disabled. Service was slow, but was expected for a full house with little walking room. The servers were friendly and the patio was comfortable. The second time was a Tuesday night, my partner and I went for a couple drinks with a small plate. It was a quiet so I really got to take in the ambience and listen to the pianist and vocalist; just beautiful. Food wasn’t over priced and very tasty. Highly recommend The Womack.” – Malcolm Cook

“This is the best gay bar in Phoenix! Audrey, the owner, is so amazing she even gave my friend jerky when he said he needed to eat. The bartenders are super friendly and it’s not filled with an older crowd. They’ve got people of all ages and all walks of life . Next time I’m in Phoenix I am definitely going back and I urge everyone to join me. They go above and beyond to keep everyone smiling and having fun. Seriously it’s amazing so give it a try. Also the bartender Kristen is the best in town. I didn’t even have to order a specific drink. I told her what type of drinks I liked and she surprised me with a whole new drink that was to die for.” – Steph Mooney
“Super cool place. The owner and bartender are awesome and the patrons were super friendly. I showed up solo at the bar and had a great time!” – Sarah Achour
