The Tavern is located in the downtown, historic district of Omaha. The Old Market is the name of their area. Since their proprietor is from the UK, their drink menu draws heavily from British culture. They also have a wide selection of domestic and foreign beer and wine. Up until the 1980s, this vintage tavern was located in the Muehlebach Hotel in the heart of Kansas City.

Brazen Head Irish Pub was established to emulate the rich traditions that have made the authentic Irish pubs across Ireland famous. They decided to use Dublin’s oldest and most prestigious bar as their model. For years, the Brazen Head on Bridge Street was the scene of much intrigue and plotting as revolutionaries from various eras used it as a safe haven to plan their schemes. Within its age-old walls, people like Tim Healy, Daniel O’Connell, and Robert Emmett drank and made plans.
