Tulsa Glass Blowing School is situated just off Route 66 in beautiful McClure Park, TGS was established in 2007 and provides unrestricted access to hot shop and kiln studio offering extraordinary experiences for anyone interested in the beauty of glass art. Third Street Clayworks
Third Street Clayworks is a spot where you can discover how to create functional objects and art from clay. Owner and instructor CJ Wells is an originally self-made craftsman of over forty years who holds an MFA in ceramics. Moreover, to teach classes for the public, Clayworks also coach ceramics for Tulsa Community College. Above all, they are a space committed to fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. They proffer classes for students of all levels.
They also have a diminutive gallery featuring ceramic pieces by students and instructors. A quick visit to browse their gallery, watch a pot being thrown on the wheel, or even just for a cup of coffee. It’s a cordial and totally humble environment. They are just making things out of mud, after all.

AR Workshop Tulsa, Maureen, and Adria. These two are the designers behind the 2010 design company Anders Ruff, a famous graphic designer, party styling, DIY blog, and online shop. Anders Ruff promptly improved from an Etsy shop to their own branded e-commerce platform and blog where thousands would visit and shop their online store for printable party goodies. They fabricated the blog column, “Ruff Draft”, which was a source of DIY motivation and ideas for many years. 6 years later and many creative ideas completed, these two had requests from fans and clients to offer hands-on workshops where they could teach their skills to others.
Their vision of coming out from behind the screen to offer DIY workshops for home decor and other creative skills came true. Tulsa Art Center
Tulsa Art Center is an art-centered educational society where some of Tulsa’s finest artists encourage students of beginning levels of all ages to achieve their creative goals. Their camp is available for enrollment. They are gearing up for a week of fun in a creative environment. They will be working on teaching to paint, draw, clay, sculpt, paper mache, and much more. They only take 10 children to improve the children’s creativity and empower them to make friends easily. Painting is circularly color, blending, brush control, and correct values.
After you learn these simple techniques, a new world in art opens up to you. In this class, they will all work on a sequence of pictures while they teach you about various acrylic paints and mediums as they paint different projects.
