Chinese Acupuncture Clinic, Dr. Eugene Lin comes from Fu Jian province of Southeast China. He graduated from Fu Jian Medical School in 1968 with an M.D. degree. Dr. Lin practiced clinical surgery for thirteen years at the Xiamen Jimei Hospital in China. He concentrated on General and Thoracic surgery. He came to the U.S. in 1982 as a visiting scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital and New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Two institutions are affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He also studied at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston in the pathology department as a research fellow.
Dr. Lin’s research included digestive tract ulceration and pharmaceuticals to ascertain remedies for ulcers. He furthered his studies at Northeastern University in Boston on extracorporeal technology and won certification as a cardiovascular perfusionist. He became a Certified Acupuncturist in 1984 in California. Dr. Lin has practiced Acupuncture and Herbology in Bakersfield since 1990.
