Ohio PiesOhio Pies

Ohio Pies is an authorized home bakery offering pies made from scratch with locally sourced and organic ingredients. Ohio Pies’ owner and baker, Emily Irvine began in 2006 when he was living abroad, missing my grandparents’ berry pies. He is driven by the desire to make people happy with pies that are the best they can possibly be, with flaky, buttery crusts and fillings that are bursting with flavor.

He chooses organic whenever possible because he does not want harmful chemical residue in my pies. Equally as important, he wants to support farmers who do not expose their workers to toxic chemicals, and who are using practices that don’t endanger the environment. Most of my packaging is biodegradable. He is continuing to look for better packaging solutions and eliminate all plastic products to create the smallest environmental footprint possible with my business.

REVIEWS:

“Today we bought Strawberry Rhubarb pie at the German Village Makers Market and it was out of this world! The crust was light and flaky with ample fruit and just the right balance of the sweetness and sour of the strawberries and rhubarb. Well done. Bravo! Look forward to trying other standard and creative flavors! Emily may just be the ‘Jeni’ of the pie world.” – Rebecca P.

“Great customer service, answered inquiry quickly, pleasant to deal with. Made it possible for me to pick want I wanted without a problem and provided a pickup date and time satisfactory to my schedule as well. It was the best Coconut Cake I had in 15 years. Moist, well decorated, and icing that did not stick to the roof of my mouth. I ate 2 pieces right away. I took pictures but my phone would not act right. I sent them to Fate Cakes because she deserves excellent accolades.” – Yvonne J.
