“The staff are wearing face shields (no masks) which is slightly concerning. They don’t offer any masks if you forgot yours (you can opt to buy one for $20 designed by local artist?).
I love their selection: tiny art, stickers, gift cards, jewelry, shirts, caps, etc. All products were made by artists and you can even see their social media sometimes!” – Lynn D.

“I first stumbled upon this museum/chapel in high school on an art museum field trip; this was not part of the trip! I came back a few times on my own, and moved to Montrose later after college. This is one of my favorite places in Houston and was my introduction to Mark Rothko / his art / his life.” – Jayci G.

“I got my tattoo done by Ben last week, he was kind enough to fit me into his busy schedule while I was in crisis mode. I told him what I wanted and why and he was quick to respond to my request. The shop is meticulously clean and is set up in the way that you have your privacy while getting your work done. I was lucky enough to have Disney’s Oceans playing while I got my tattoo done so I got to watch fish and whales swim around while everything was being prepped for me! (Lol)

If you’re looking for an artist/shop that you can trust, I would 20/10 recommend the Flying Squid tattoo shop!” – Jenni V.
